As the biz-tech group, we promote the use of technologies for our industries. We are looking for a software development engineer to develop digital trust utilities, such as trustworthy AI, privacy-preserving technologies, digital trust for blockchains and more. 

As a full stack engineer, you will be working as part of a cross-functional team to build various scalable and efficient trust utilities for public good. 

Successful candidates will be working in a fast-paced environment and be exposed to trust concepts such as responsible AI, privacy preserving technologies, blockchains and more.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust and scalable software components in Python
• Design and develop software components that will produce the visual elements of the products 
• Solve software development issues that are identified during testing or reported by product management and users
• Improve code quality through automated unit and functional tests
• Produce technical documentations
• Evaluate open-source digital trust toolkits 
• Work with relevant stakeholders to manage requirements
• Continuously discover and evaluate new technologies that helps to build better product

Qualifications and Skills 

• Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field
• 3-5 years of software development experience in Python or C++
• Experience working with REST and API integration
• Comfortable with automated software testing framework
• Fresh graduates with strong experience in software development will be considered. 
• Candidates with prior experience developing software in cryptography, cybersecurity, AI or software development will be considered favourably. 
• Motivated, agile and independent learner who demonstrates critical thinking
• Team player with strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong presentation and engagement skills

Position will commensurate with experience.
