Description

Job Description : 

• Lead a team to develop a strategy and blueprint for research translation and/or certification of trusted technologies (“trust tech”) to meet strategic national and business objectives.
• Lead the overall product vision and roadmap of trust tech translation and industry adoption including the commercial usage agreements for such translated trust tech products.
• Collaborate with relevant policy units in IMDA or Government to formulate governance approaches for trust tech.
• Create thought leadership for Singapore in trust tech, by forging collaborations with strategic partners including industry and standardisation bodies, countries and international organisations.
• Represent Singapore and/or IMDA in trust tech by participating in relevant industry and international forums.
• Manage the Trust Tech Industry and Research Fund – by investing into relevant research areas with IHLs/RIs and shaping Research proposals put up by performers.
• Develop the ecosystem of trust tech in Singapore, by forging collaborations with strategic research and industry partners (both local and overseas).

Qualifications and Skills 

• Background in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in managing teams in multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strategic thinker with experience in negotiations of strategic agreements.
• Relevant experience in research ecosystem, including National Research Foundation, key stakeholders in local and foreign institutes of higher learning and Research Institutes.
• Experience with translation, incubation or commercialisation of emerging technology is an advantage.
• Experience with policy formulation around governance mechanisms is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as strong presentation and engagement skills.
• Highly self-driven, a team player and fast learner.
