Description

Our client is a well-known leader in the ICT - Technology Industry. They are currently looking for a Senior/ Trade Manager to be based in Singapore.

As Senior Trade Manager, the incumbent will need to test feasibility of project concepts via quick Proof-of-Concepts on a smaller scale, and demonstrate potential for cost or man-effort savings.

Upon successful POCs, the project manager will work with project sponsor and the in-house IT team to plan and implement a properly sized solution for corporate-wide or scaled up deployment.

Responsibilities

• Develop project concepts leveraging proven or new technologies.

• Work with project sponsor divisions, IT vendors, Institute of Higher Learning (IHL) interns or in-house IT colleagues to develop prototypes via Proof-of-Concept (POC) projects.

• Report progress and account for results (cost or man-effort savings) and learnings points from POC projects at relevant management fora.

• Work with in-house IT team to plan for scale-up deployment for POC projects which are proven successful and appropriate for wider adoption.

Requirements

• Background in Information Technology, Computer Science or an Engineering discipline.

• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in ICT project conceptualization and management.

• Pro-active, dedicated, committed and responsible self-starter with strong customer orientation.

• Results-oriented, self-directed and able to interact with the various business units.

• Good EQ and excellent communication (both oral and written).

• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.

• Keen interest in business transformation leveraging technology and data insights. Experienced with managing data and implementation of data analytics projects.

Position will commensurate with experience.
